How many TIL308s do you have?
Because Texas Instruments no longer manufactures this part, our supplies of the original TIL308 are limited. So, we can not guarantee bulk orders of TIL308 LEDs.
Where do your TIL308s come from?
Primarily from large industrial customers other governmental organizations who upgraded from the TIL308 to the VIN308RP. These customers have made significant investments in electronics equipment which use the TIL308 LED. So, many choose to upgrade to the VIN308RP, both for its improvements over the TIL308 and because of its availability in the future. When this happens, these customers often switch out their existing supplies of TIL308 LEDs for all of their electronics equipment as part of their upgrade to the VIN308RP.
Are your TIL308s used?
Since Texas Instruments is not our supplier, our TIL308s have been previously owned. However, our sources are large organizations who often maintain new replacement parts for their electronics equipment. There is simply no way for us to know for certain if particular LED has actually been previously used before. Because of this, each time we receive a new TIL308, we test the part to confirm that it is in excellent working order.
Have each TIL308 been tested?
Yes, all of the TIL308 LEDs in our inventory have been tested, and are in good working order. In addition, we test each part again just prior to shipping to be certain the particular TIL308 we send to you is in good working order when it leaves our hands.
Do you guarantee your TIL308 LEDs?
Due to the nature of previously owned electronic parts, we can not offer a guarantee. TIL308 LEDs are sold as is. However, we do offer you an opportunity to watch us test the particular TIL308 LED you buy prior to shipping it out to you live via webcam. Because this takes some coordination in terms of time, there is a small extra fee for this service. However, you can be assured that the particular TIL308 LED being shipped to you is in excellent working order when it leaves our hands. You can even watch us pack it up and address it to you if you like.
Do you purchase single TIL308 LEDs from customers?
